Educated - 331. video, Section 24.
The coach explains here that he would never take an extremely obese person to a gym for training.
Why?
As in regular training, that person can be extremely injured and damage their body.
You cannot train an obese person in the same way as a person with a normal BMI index.
Their bodies face different challenges.
I used to be much fatter, around 140 kg was my maximum.
I joined the BAK, and after half a year of walking, I lost a few kg. The trainer wanted better results, so he pushed me to run the same as the others.
I got injured for more than 6 months!
I had to use knee holder protection for years!
I never went back to BAK for any training.
I never asked an obese person to do the same as a slim person.
I still see that in Ballerup, people force obese people to do the same training as slim people.
It is very dangerous!
Be Fair! Obese people also deserve good training! It means they need training compared to their challenges.
Obese people also deserve protection and care!
If you do not know how to train obese people, get educated!
